Other Questions About A Woman’s Choice & Necole’s Place
Are you a medical clinic?
Yes, A Woman’s Choice Resource Center is licensed by the Commonwealth of Kentucky as a “Special Health Clinic” authorized to administer pregnancy tests and perform ultrasounds. We also have a nurse manager and a consulting physician as medical director.
Do you perform abortions at your facility?
No, we do not perform or refer for abortions. However, we are prepared to accurately discuss abortion procedures with our clients.
Why is your name 'A Woman's Choice?'
We named our center “A Woman’s Choice” because many of our clients who find out they’re pregnant do not know what they are going to do about the pregnancy: abort, parent, or place for adoption. This choice that they face brings them through our doors. They are at a crossroads and have a life changing decision to make. No one should have to struggle through that process alone and without information regarding all three options.
We are here to educate women regarding the choice they are facing. Regardless of the decision, the woman’s life is going to change dramatically and we want to be as supportive as possible. We also recognize that many women are facing this decision under pressure from the father of the baby or from her own parents. We want to provide a safe environment for women to weigh all options.
